Flagship projects
Ola
Developed two scenarios for the manufacturing of electric two-wheelers. Conducted an analysis of the optimal size of a two-wheeler plant and the number of plants required to achieve a capacity of 10 million units. Created a detailed project plan for the execution of the two scenarios, outlining key decision points and questions that must be resolved along the journey, along with timelines for resolving them.
Nikola
Designed packaging from A to B supply to the NIKOLA Assembly Plant in Coolidge, Arizona, USA. Set up a detailed project plan based on the given key milestones and aligned the project plan with the project management of the client.
Vinfast
CKD Electric Vehicle Plant Manufacturing Engineering, including detailed specification and scoping report, plant and equipment specifications, RFQ documentation, production readiness review, and overseeing and managing production trial runs.
Tata
Conversion from a Ford automotive plant to a Tata automotive plant. AIH was appointed for the logistics and warehouse planning, including inbound and intra-logistics planning and implementation for Trim, Chassis, and Final stages, and warehouse space requirements and planning.
CEER
Design phase of a greenfield project to build the CEER National Automotive Company’s Manufacturing Plant in the King Abdullah Economic Centre (KEAC) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Partnering to provide Intra Logistics Simultaneous Engineering Services that will assist CEER’s Logistics Engineering Team in achieving CEER Automotive’s objectives.
Silverton Engineering
To install 300 new dies, 30 new robots, and 11 new assembly lines, we provided a multidisciplinary team for plant readiness, logistics coordination and planning, tool approval in China and the USA, project cash flow management, and plant layout planning. We also provided finalisation of packaging concepts and industrialisation.
Amazon
Planning and project management of the implementation of warehouse control systems, production ramp-up and deployment, and design of a Lean Production Model and material flow management for plants in Poland, Hungary, and Slovakia.
Ford
Value-adding production logistics, including sequencing, sub-assembly, JIT/JIS, transport to site, returns, and warehouse management services to Ford and Volkswagen, located within the Tshwane Automotive Special Economic Zone.
